"Your highness!" A man shouted as he ran across the vast throne room of the Cruor Palace in Ayr. His voice echoed through the empty hall as he mad his way to Zeph, who was seated on the king's throne.
"What?!" Zeph shouted as the man halted and looked down.
"Approach." Zeph's minister calmly gestured for the man to walk forward.
The man hesitated as he glanced at Zeph and the minister, he knew that of the two it was Zeph that still held a higher position.
Noticing the man's hesitation, Zeph waved him over as well, to which he quickly moved forward and got down on his knees.
Noticing his actions Zeph sat up and leaned forward, clearly the man had important news for them.
"Speak!" Zeph commanded, making the man jump slightly.
Zeph grinned as he enjoyed the man's reaction. He liked being feared and respected, and for once he was the one people thought to be the most powerful, not that fool Edward who had died by either Marcus' or Owain's hands.
