"Our friend here is actually a watchman of the wall." Connor informed Prince Nicholas. "We can pass through during his shift."


Nicholas nodded as he understood that this man could be their only chance of escaping Gaia.


"Why do you want to help us?" Ysmira asked the question that was on the tip of everyone's tongues. 


The man was about to speak and give his explanation, when Ysmira continued what she was saying.


"Based on how you look you are clearly a Cibus mage. The fact that you are also a watchman on the wall means that you are a trusted resident of Gaia. So why should we trust you?" Ysmira was wary of the man. He had just shown up with information and an offer to help, he could be part of a trap.


"I am as much of the Cibus clan as I am of the Corporali clan." Allen bravely declared, making Nicholas raise an eyebrow and closely study the man. 


"What do you mean?" Nicholas asked, curious as to the man's genealogy.
