Nicholas stood at the wall, watching, waiting.
His scouts had told them that Marcus was only a few hours away, Nicholas refused to meet his brother and his armies so close to any town. If they were going to battle, they would fight at the border on Nicholas' terms.
"Do you think he will come?" Brie asked as she stood to Nicholas' right.
"He will." Nicholas calmly replied as he kept his eyes on the horizon. "We both know our brother, he won't back out from this."
Brie nodded as she kept her chin held up high.
It didn't take long for Marcus' army to be seen, stepping out of the forests by the border.
Nicholas could tell based on the look on their faces that they had expected Nicholas' armies to meet them at the wall.
"Don't do anything stupid." Brie hissed at Nicholas as she noticed a smile on his lips.
"I'm just going to give them a little scare." Nicholas grinned as he ran and jumped down from the wall.
