Coin Toss

They were seated in a secluded room near the entrance of the tower. Mariana still had no idea how he had managed to carry her all the way down without having a heart attack. There were so many stairs.

They enjoyed a cup of tea together and tried to make sense of their current plans. It was true that Mariana had a fancy sword now, and even more than that - she had survived the dungeon and emerged as an individual who might not have been perfect, but she was still stronger than she had been in the start of their adventures.

"The world will collapse if we do not do what we are supposed to do," she whispered, her breath bouncing off from the surface of her hot tea and sending whiskers of moisture into the room that was still moonlit, like the night had no intentions of ending at all.
