The nighttime ocean opened up after some moments, covering almost all of Mariana's field of vision. She looked at the moonlight sparkling on its waves. She smelled the freshness and felt the wind in her hair. She loved this, she wanted to stay near the sea forever, or maybe it would have been even better to be on it, riding its waves on a wooden ship. She did not know any emotions that would have come anywhere close these heights that seeing the salty waves hiked her up to. There was just one thing; they still had to find that witch, and the witch was most definitely not sailing on the waves. They had to follow the footsteps of the woman, which was hard, because she had partially covered up everything.
"Damn, this woman is fast," Daniel cursed. "I try to go as fast as I can and she still manages to stay ahead. She must be afraid."
