As Gus ran towards the pack of Shenia who stood in his way, he began to see the sight of bullets flying past him towards his target. He briefly questioned how they worked in the environment that they were in, given the lack of atmosphere, but as he got even closer the thoughts vanished from his mind.

Turning his attention to his opponent's, Gus noticed something that he had never thought to pay attention to before. Seeing him come towards them, the Shenia wore what seemed to be an expression that lay somewhere between amusement and bewilderment on their face, as though the very thought of what they were trying to achieve was laughably impossible.

As the bullets that his new allies had fired collided with their targets, the expressions barely shifted. It was as though they could not fathom the idea that their allies had died, and so didn't consider it to be true. Their expressions remained motionless as Gus closed on them daggers drawn.
