Avana had no idea where the question came from or why he asked that question? Did it have something to do with what Kiev saw in his future?

Wait! Did she believe that he could see the future?

"Who is marrying who?" Cathy looked at the two of them in question. It was, of course, a topic worth talking about, probably raising her curiosity.

"Adam." The boy openly said, as if that was obvious. Then, he finished his drink and stood up from his chair. "I better go. Amaira is already waiting for me outside." 

The boy ran before Cathy could ask more questions. Or she could react to his answer. He ran fast and was out the door in a split second. True enough, she heard Amaira's voice by the door.

How did he know that she was already outside?

The boy was creating one mystery after another, and she was uncertain if it should excite or spook her. But she knew one thing was evident. The boy would need all the help he could get.
