She put on the finishing touches of her makeup and ran her fingers through her hair. She would have done more, but there was no time. Her friend also looked good, and that should be enough for now.

After all, they were not attending the party to impress anyone. They just needed to act less suspicious, so their parents would not think they were doing anything wrong. 

Not that they believed they were making a mistake by following the Elders and their orders. They did not think that their parents would understand.

"Stop fidgeting, Ivrea, just try to act normal," Elisia told her friend, seeing her shaking on her knees as they exited her room, walking towards the reception area where all the guests would be waiting.

Luckily, she had some clothes that could fit her friend, so she did not have to go home and change. But they heard that her mother, Diana, was also attending the party.
