Avana was thankful that despite the events yesterday, she still managed to get some sleep. Although her mind kept swirling to the information she discovered, her body still succumbed to exhaustion.

And maybe after hearing about Adam's past, she realized that she should not judge him. He might not be the enemy she should run away from but someone she should trust.

Still, her mind was warning her to thread with caution. She still did not want to end up in a trap where there was nowhere out but the hole in the ground.

"Ava, are you awake?" She heard a tiny voice outside her door. Of course, she recognized his voice. 

She had been wide awake for more than half an hour. However, she was yet to move from her position. She had been staring at the wooden beam in the ceiling supporting the roof but still had no clue what she planned to do.
