He placed his coat over her naked body to cover her up since her clothes were hardly usable after her transformation. But her state of undress was the least of her concern, realizing that she had finally slept with a man.

He gave her innocence, not to just any man, but to a man she considered her mortal enemy, the monster that killed most of her ancestors and her fiance. He was all that and more.

"Are you alright?" Adam asked her as they neared the perimeter fence of the house. He seemed genuinely concerned, but he respected her silence after they had finished the deed. He also kept quiet, giving her time to maul over her situation.

Honestly, she was confused about how to deal with him. She did not regret her decision to sleep with him. But it did not mean she had enough time to think it through before doing it. Now, she wondered what next to do with her situation.
