Avana woke up with a smile on her lips. She had never felt more alive, thinking of the great memories of the previous day. Like everything was falling into place, although her problems were far from over.

But having Adam at her side seemed to make everything bright. It felt like she finally had someone to share her burden, pulling a heavy boulder off her shoulders.

"You are up early," Cathy greeted as she entered the kitchen. She also had a pleasant smile that told her she was excited about something. "Is it true?" She asked without giving any details.

Cathy proceeded to the fridge, taking out some food to help her prepare breakfast. She found some eggs and a few sausages in the freezer. That would be good enough for what she had in mind.

But more than cooking their meal, she had another reason for visiting Ava this early morning. She heard something quite interesting, and she needed confirmation.
