It was like having a dog following her around as she moved from one place to another while he stayed not far behind. It was slightly irritating that he was like a shadow everywhere she went, but also comforting knowing that he had her back.

"What are you doing?" Elisia asked as she moved around the boutique shop, looking for clothes she might need.

He also pretended to be shopping as he took clothes from the rack only to return them immediately. But his face indicated that shopping was the least of his favorite things to do.

"What do you mean?" Isaac asked as he took a hat from the frame and put it on his head before facing the mirror as if checking if it looked good on him.

She had asked him to wait in the car, but he promised not to let her out of sight. He was his responsibility, and anything that would happen to her would be on his shoulders.
