"Die!" The girl shouted at Ivan as she swung her body before releasing a wind ripping kick towards Ivan's head.
'Scary!' Ivan thought to himself. He dodged the girl's kick by ducking under her leg before he balled his right hand into a fist and punched towards the girl's gut.
Although her kick was fast, Ivan was even faster. He calmed himself down with a breath as he took a step back to avoid the girl's kick before he released a punch of his own at the girl.
The girl, once again, reacted rather quickly to Ivan's counterattack.
Without wasting another breath, she let her left leg cave in from her weight, thus was able to smoothly transition her kick aiming for Ivan's head to a drop kick aimed towards the boy's right shoulder.
Alas, Ivan was a martial arts practitioner while the girl was a wizard apprentice. There was a significant difference between the two children's close combat experiences.
Therefore, it wasn't hard for Ivan to block the girl's drop kick with his left hand before he pushed the girl away with his right.
This move caught the girl to lose her balance, causing her to fall backwards and thus allowed Ivan to back away and reposition himself to prepare for the next attack.
And so, the two children continued to trade moves with each other without being able to land a hit on each other no matter how hard they tried.
By then, 10 minutes had already passed. The girl had beads of sweat rolling off her face while Ivan remained in his position coolly. Just this amount of sparing wasn't enough to wear him down.
"Why. Won't. You. Get. Knock. Out?!" The girl shouted exasperatedly at Ivan.
"Why? It's because you're a wizard. I'm a martial artist. We are not the same." Ivan replied indifferently.
"I don't believe it…I don't believe I am weaker than a boy! Gah, here I come!" With a crazed look on her face, the girl shouted hysterically before she charged towards Ivan again.
This time however, since the girl realized that Ivan had the upper hand in terms of physical prowess, the girl decided to enhance her body using the little bit of mana she had.
"Crown Phoenix Punch!" The girl, who was much faster than before, encased her right hand in fire before she unleashed it upon Ivan. "I will defeat you!"
"So you're using magic now? Alright, I'll try out my new skills as well!" Taking a deep breath to clear his mind, the boy proceeded to charge towards the girl with his remaining strength.
"Water Step!"
Every step of his started to condense into water vapor. Soon, a small river formed beneath Ivan's feet as he dashed towards the scary girl.
Seeing this, the girl scoffed at his suicidal actions.
Nonetheless, she remained vigilant as she rushed towards Ivan with her fiery punch.
Within 2 breaths of time, Ivan had reached the girl first before the girl could even react.
Upon noticing that the girl had yet to react to his arrival, he took this opportunity to unleash several light punches and kicks at the girl. His aim was to make her faint as quickly and as painless as possible.
Headmaster Na had stressed to him about how he needed to treat girls with respect and that society would hate him if he hurt a girl intentionally.
"PA! PA! PA! PA! PA" Light beating sounds resounded throughout the corridor before it became quiet again.
There, laying on the floor, was a girl no older than 10 knocked out cold due to Ivan's continuous beating and the girl's own stamina running out before she could even put up a fight.
Chaos and Leviathan pitied the girl since they knew how strong Ivan had gotten since the entrance exam.
'If only the girl had used magic from the start, Ivan would surely lose within 3 minutes.' [Leviathan]
'Alas, the girl being able to use body enhancement magic for more than 3 minutes is hypothetical in itself. The girl looked to be no older than 10. If her mana pool was able to sustain her for that long, the girl's parents would have sent her to a royal magic academy already.' [Chaos]
'True…but what if the girl is an orphan? Most people who are doing great in their lives wouldn't have come to this mysterious academy, no?' [Leviathan]
'Haiz, in the end, everything lies in the hands of the universe, or the more spiritual term, fate.' [Chaos]

It took Ivan a good 10 minutes to unpack his luggage before he spent another 30 minutes cleaning his side of the dorm room.
The desk and wardrobe that was once covered in dust was now spotless due to Ivan's hard work.
As for the girl, his roommate, she continued to lay at the entrance of their dorm room out cold.
It was only after Ivan had finished unpacking did the boy help move his roommate out.
"Damn, this girl is heavy." Ivan muttered under his breath as he pulled his roommate into their dorm room.
After moving his roommate to their bed, Ivan took another look at his roommate, realizing that the girl was actually cute when she's not attacking him.
Nonetheless, Ivan's impression of his roommate still didn't change since it was his roommate that instigated a spar with him first.
'Wizards are weird. They start fights but are always the first to collapse from exhaustion. I mean, how weak can you be?' The boy thought to himself.
Just then, a thought occurred to him.
'With the inside being this big, I'm sure that there is a library somewhere.' Without making another sound, Ivan left his dorm room before he eagerly went to search for a library within his dormitory.
