"Open up Soo Ah!" Her mother banged on the door and yet there was no answer from inside. Since last night, after that incident at her engagement party, her daughter locked herself in and refused to come out and she was beginning to worry about her.

"Wallowing in self-pity isn't going to solve your problem," She lectured her, hoping that would get a response out of her daughter. The woman pressed her ears to the door, hoping to hear approaching footsteps, but nothing came up.

"Soo Ah!" She hit on the door again continuously, but Mr. Chae came along and she stopped knocking immediately, swallowing down the embarrassment that washed over her.

Ever since that incident last night, it was obvious that her husband was displeased with her and her daughter. What happened yesterday was a huge disgrace and Soo Ah should have known to behave better in public no matter the provocation.
