Captain Rodgers had a fierce look in his eyes as he stared at Elena. The latter stared back, not backing down as she maintained her ground, her aura fully manifested, clashing with the Captain's own, putting things at a stalemate.

The atmosphere in the hall was tense. It was so delicate at this point that a single move would be enough to cause everything to erupt like a volcano.

The other members of her Squadron were well aware that Elena could not win against the Captain but her audacity to stand up to him was indeed admirable. They could only hope that this wouldn't get any worse.

Just then, they heard the captain speak. "You would dare to release your aura to stand against me?... Do you realize what you are doing, Cadet?"

"I will not allow you to harm any member of my Squadron. Come at me if you want, but leave them out." Even with the subtle threat, Elena was not backing down, instead, her aura seemed to increase in strength.
