"The leader of the alliance might still be at their camp," Nathan remarked.

Elena contemplated for a moment before responding. "So?... What does that have to do with our current situation?... Don't you think I should return to aid your resistance?"

Jeremy quickly added. "Yeah, why are you telling us not to return and then speaking about the captain of the alliance, our priority now should be to take down the invaders."

Gary remained mute at the side as he watched the exchange with interest. He had learned to not take Nathan's words at face value thus he looked forward to his explanation.

Elena on the other hand seemed to be in deep thought after replying to Nathan.

Nathan sighed as he explained. "Just listen to me. I have a feeling that the alliance leader might not be the head of this attack."

Elena put up a brow. "Why do you think so?"
