"You're going to the human world and you only tell me this now?"
"Yup. I'm going with Amon and his friend, Gregory."
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"
Dharvey crossed her arms in front of her chest as she watched her husband, Nevin, pack his clothes.
"You didn't even ask help from me when it comes to packing your things. You hate doing kinds of stuff like this. Are you that eager to go?"
"Dhav..." Nevin stopped fixing his stuff for a while and sighed, now giving his wife a back hug the moment she turned her back away from him. "Why are you acting like this? It's not as if I'm on a vacation."
"Well, yeah..." Dharvey let out a sigh as well as she further expressed what she's feeling. "But it's just that I want you to update me about your plans."
Nevin couldn't help but chuckle. He always knew that his wife is a strong type of woman, but whenever they are alone together, she can act like this whenever she wanted to.
Besides... she can be vulnerable and sweet in front of her husband. There is nothing wrong with that.
"Why are you acting cute, hmm?" Nevin kissed the top of his wife's head. "As if I'm going away for a long time. Besides, this happened suddenly. How can I tell you in advance?"
"I know... it's just..." Dharvey turned in his arms, facing to look at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm not used to you going away, you know? And what kind of errand are you doing, anyway? Can you at least tell the detail?"
"Well... I can't hide anything from my wife anyway."
"And it's good you know."
Nevin started telling Dharvey what they're planning to do in the human world. Dharvey was curious as to why Amon went home to the Kingdom of Gehenna after being away for 19 years.
And now, she understood why.
Nevin told Dharvey that Amon had found something unusual when it comes to Lilith's mother's grave. With the corpse out, even Dharvey is curious as to why.
"Did someone dig the grave?"
"No, that's what Amon initially thought. But he told me that it seemed that the corpse went out on itself."
Dharvey arched a brow at him, slightly shuddering on the thought as well.
"Now that's creepy. Zombie much? Sorry, I know it's Lilith's mom, but still."
Dharvey shrugged. She helped Nevin pack his clothes and other necessities while the both of them were still talking.
"We are not even certain that she is Lilith's mother."
"Oh."
Dharvey blinked her eyes a few times when she heard her husband's statement, stopping for a while before continuing to fold his clothes before putting it in the bag.
"But Lilith came out of her. Amon even said so. He said it was a scary incident since he saw the birth giving process in the flesh and--"
"Stop, stop!"
Nevin interrupted, closing his eyes as he recalled his own encounter as well. Seeing two children come out of his wife and him having no choice but to be there to support his wife is something scary to him as well...
"I know, I know... skip to the details and just tell what you mean."
Dharvey couldn't help but laugh. She then continued folding clothes for Nevin, now further explaining what she meant.
"Well, you see, she came from her. Wouldn't that make her the mother of Lilith? Yeah, I get that she has different hair and eyes from her mom, but why say we're not sure that she's the mother?"
"Well... just a thought while we were discussing a while ago, we realized that it may be a disguise."
The moment Nevin sat on the bed, Dharvey widened her eyes as she was curious as to what her husband meant.
"Disguise?"
"Yes. What if the being, whatever it is, had the capability to shift to a human with human-like features? Or what if the spirit form of the being possessed or took over a human form?"
"Well, we cannot rule out that possibility," Dharvey mumbled to herself, enough for her husband to hear still. "But what kind of being does that?"
"Well--"
"Daaaaad! Stop Aidan!"
Before Nevin could even finish his statement, the twins barged in their room, getting their attention.
"Nadia and I already packed our stuff," Aidan said, Nadia immediately elbowing her twin brother's side.
"I told you don't tell while mom is here yet! Don't you see we are still in the middle of a prank!?"
"Prank?" Dharvey blinked her eyes a few times, Nevin laughing out loud. "Do you mean... that all of us are going to the human world?"
"Yes," Aidan said, scratching the back of his head. "I almost forgot that this is a prank."
His wife then realized right here and then that he was doing it on purpose of not telling her that the whole family is going. Dharvey then immediately got his pillow and kept hitting him many times on the head and on his body.
"You! You just wanted to see me act sweet!" Dharvey blushed, their children laughing as well.
"Dad wanted us to do it because he says you're no longer sweet to him," Nadia commented, rolling her eyes at them. "I don't understand why you guys do that when you're married to each other for so long and have us, too."
"Oh, you don't understand," Nevin said, now standing up as he pulled his wife in his arms, kissing the top of her head once more to make her feel better. "When you're together and married, you got to spice things up every now and then."
"Geez!"
Dharvey broke free from her husband's hold, now making way to her wardrobe to start fixing her own things.
"You three really gang up on me. I won't ever cook you guys stuff anymore, mind you!"
And with that, the three burst out laughing while they enjoyed Dharvey's flustered and embarrassed face as she is not one who usually shows her sweet side.
