Barely Escaped

The dim light of the setting sun filtered through the thick canopy of the forest, casting long shadows over the rugged terrain. Gregory moved silently through the trees, his keen eyes scanning the area. There was a restlessness in him today, a sense of urgency that he couldn't quite shake.

For the past few days, the memories of his past had been surfacing, triggered by the conversations about Albaz, the curse, and the looming dangers that surrounded them.
