Xander relaxed lazily on the couch in his home, resting his hand on his forehead while keeping his eyes shut.
Xandria and Damian stared at him like he was some model advertisement they were watching, despite the gloomy expression crossing his face as his pretty brows knitted, he still looked strikingly handsome, enough to mesmerize anyone.
The storm continued to rumble in a threatening manner outside as the heavy wind blew open the cottons, a thunderous lightning strike was heard next, Xandria sighed as she stared out through the window..
"Why's it so heavy today?" Damian questioned, finding it strange while Xandria folded her arms.
"The elder demons have some crazy ceremony they plan on doing today, I bet it's them trying to make a grand entrance or something like that." She rolled her eyes before diverting her gaze to Xander who barely moved from his position.
"Wow, if someone were to tell me that Xander would turn out like this just cause he got ignored, I'd die and still not believe it." She whispered to Damian who was equally staring at Xander, they were actually scared to disturb him and chose to remain silent.
"Me too, but…."
The sudden buzz of Xander's phone caught everyone's attention and he let out a disgruntled sigh like an annoying alarm just woke him up.
"I'm really not in the mood to deal with any business related issue at the moment." He uttered flatly while ignoring the call.
"Pick the call already, could be important." Damian urged the fellow who nonchalantly grabbed his phone and answered the phone call.
"Who is it?"
Xandria and Damian waited for him to speak but instead, his expression changed slightly and a look of horror filled his eyes as he abruptly sat up, like someone who just heard a shocking news.
"Anxi???"
At the mention of her name and the worriedness flashing across his face, it got the rest equally worried.
What happened to Anxi?
"Put it on speaker!" Xandria hurriedly sat beside him while Xander instantly placed it on speaker and the conversation was heard by all of them.
"Let me go, open the stupid door!!"
"Keep quiet, don't let me stop the car and come shut you up myself!!"
"What do you want from me and what am I doing at hunter street? Please let me go!!" The fear in her tone made everyone gasp, Is Anxi in some kind of trouble?
And did she just mention hunter street??? What's she doing there??
"Is that….are you recording???"
Xander's expression went paler after realizing she's just been caught.
Xandria equally listened as her expression equally went pale. "My goodness Anxi!!"
"You silly!!!!"
And the frightening scream of a girl came next as the phone got disconnected.
"Anxi!!"
He called her name before the call got disconnected and he instantly got to his feet, the air suddenly felt heavy as he stole a quick glance at his watch and it was getting past 10pm.
"Almost eleven now." He glanced at the heavy storm about to take place and his eyes widened In horror, no no no!!!
"I have to get her out of there before it's too late!!" Without speaking to the rest, he rushed out of his house.
"I'm coming with you." Damian followed him.
"I want to come as well."
"No, stay here and wait for us, it's dangerous out there." Damian told the worried Xandria before stepping out of the manor with Xander by his side.
They both got into his car and his gaze had completely darkened as the frightening scream of Anxi played repeatedly in his head, a sight which sent a trail of sweat rolling down Damian's back.
Xander was no longer himself when he had such looks, his aura had turned dangerous, almost deadly that Damian even found it difficult to breathe while staying by his side.
"It's the ceremony today." He informed Damian. "12 o clock sharp, at hunter street, any human found, get's killed without sparing a second, we have to find her before they do."
Damian nodded. "We will, or do you need me to track her in my wolf form? It'll be a lot easier for me to find her that way."
"If it's easier then go."
He obediently nodded and got down from the car, right before Xander's eyes, he had transformed into his wolf form and both beings instantly locked their gaze.
"Find. Her." Was Xander's last word to him before he drove out of his apartment.
~
The driver had pulled over at an abandoned building and got down from the car as well, while dragging the struggling Anxi along with him.
"Let me go you freak! Release me!"
She tried to force her wrist free but the stranger only shoved her into the building and locked the door from the outside before she could do anything.
"Hey, get me out, stop!!" She banged continuously on the door, trying to open it up but the stranger ignored her cry for help and dialed a number.
"It's been done."
"Hey!!" Anxi continuously banged on the door when it started to rain, the roof wasn't completed, causing the rain to pour furiously down on her fragile body.
The path looked completely abandoned and she doubts anyone would hear her cry for help, a lightning crack in a threatening manner up in the sky, sending heaven's light flashing past that it gave Anxi the shivers.
"What should I do? Why did he even lock me here? Who was that man??" The rain poured so heavily that Anxi was completely soaked within a matter of seconds.
She hurriedly glanced around, it was empty and dark on the inside that she had to squint her eyes to see a little, to her teary eyed gaze, she spotted a telephone on the wall, that kidnapper broke her phone and she just hope she could get through to Xander from this line.
She hurriedly seeked shelter behind the covered path of the building, reaching for the telephone as she instantly dialed a certain number.
Her heart beamed once it went through and she prayed silently for Xander to pick her call.
"Please pick up, please pick up."
Another lightning strike erupted in the building where Anxi was, making the wires which were connected to a certain pole to fall right in.
"Ahhh!!" She screamed seeing the flash of electricity that was in those wires and cried her eyes out when it nearly touched her.
"Please pick up Xander."
