Slaughter House!

As he was elated with the rewards, Elias was standing filled with adrenaline but after calming down, he slumped on the sand, with a thud, and he breathed a sigh of exhaustion.

"How the hell did I survive all that Chaos?" He finds it hard to wrap his head around what happened!

The Second Trial was so intense that he can't even believe he survived for very long integrated with his Island!

"Merging of Islands turned for the worst, I guess. My question was why am I Solo travelling? And when am I going to meet people?"

Elias shook his head and closed his eyes to sleep. But he couldn't sleep, so he sat down and looked at the thick Fog trapped in his Island Force-field.

With a thought the Fog shifted and allowed him to see his 10m Sand Island, withdrawing his influence, the Fog spread.

"Should I reduce the Fog?.... Nah!"

He shook his head and lay down again. Then he crawled to the edge and finely tuned the Fog into a coating the Force-field. The Island centre became clear as the Fog spread forming a white sheet around the Force-field dome!

"I can use it to impede observers from the outside. But where are they?"

Loneliness was stimulating depression in Elias that was why he was a bit desperate to see anyone who he can talk to!

Sadly, Elias didn't know, he had many chances in the Second Trial but the Fog prevented that!

Elias went around his Island observing its changes. Most Islands were round, Elias's not an exception.

The centre was filled with ordinary Yellow  Sand with some stalks of Abinci Grass, at the edges were made up of arranged, carefully carved, large rectangular stones, made up of the combination of the Islands that merged. The stones were cemented together using solid K'eon Iron!

Elias caressed the edges and the stones tried to connect with him. With more concentration, he perceived the inner workings of the Force-field and the gradual initiation of the Island Fortes.

"Interesting!" Elias was gleeful. He asked Wand, but it informed him that it's better if he discovers it by himself.

To truly grasp his Island nature, he needs to work on it.

Elias crawled around placing his hand on every stone and by the end of it, he fell asleep, without knowing, exhausted!

Everything has a price of Mental Fortitude, without it, one can't do a thing, until one recovers, thankfully, that also improves it.

When he woke up, the Fog had spread, with a thought, it parted, turning it into a sheet around Force-field Dom, and then he noticed that the Island was no longer moving. The Island had reached its destination.

[Third Trial Begins]

[Beast King…!]

~An Ally!

Or

~An Enemy!

[Choose one]

Elias' intuition went off the roof and his body trembled, if he was standing, he would have fallen.

He gulped down and wiped away the sweat that formed on his forehead and chose…

 ~An Ally!

After that nothing happened. He looked around but beyond his Island was heavy Fog. He then took his time to dig a deep hole and concentrated on Influencing his Island Fog to seep into the hole. It took time and effort but he vacated the Island Fog into the hole and then he used a bag he made with leather to cover it. And spread sand on it!

Without his constant influence, the Fog will spread and obscure his vision. So he just stored it to have easy visibility.

"I would be damned!" Elias broke into a panic. With his shitty luck, he knew nothing would end well!

He has no weapon or tool to fight with. He later calmed down and brought out his Chain Chest. As it sensed his panic it began to jump around him.

Then he used Telekinesis to move the sand and pushed the Chest Of infinity out. He braced himself and nudged it and his Mind went black but the Chain Chest pulled him back which made him regain his senses,n

He chuckled… the White Spirals Chest was moved to the edge at one side!

Then he put the Chain Chest on the opposite side of the White Chest. He also brought the extra Chest and read through it information but it wasn't for an offensive. Heck, it was called Cursed Chest and he had tamed it according to the Wand, but he didn't even know how he passed the Curse Ordeal!

In the end, he placed it in the centre. After that, he brought all the slimes he have. There were 1 Grade 4 Metallic Slime Monster and 14 Grade 3 Corrosion Slime!

That was quite an Army!

But he didn't stop by that, the Slimes were stronger than him since he was still Grade 2, but they were his Island residents and that made them his minions!

Using Telekinesis he tried to unify two among them!

It wasn't successful at first, but after trying different combinations, one of them devoured another one, but later, it collapsed into a puddle of Corrosive liquid. Elias sighed, but… something wiggled at the centre and the wiggling thing absorbed the Corrosive puddle!

[New Unknown Life Form]

Grade 0, level 1

Type: Two Unique Slime Products

Traits: Camouflage, Corrosion Absorption.

___

Elias was intrigued to see something new but he was running out of time. He can't observe the new thing now!

In the end, he took the seemingly shapeless thing to one corner in a leather container and stopped his experiment.

With nothing to do, he dug a hole and buried himself inside. Hoping that the stupid plan works!

As he stayed idle, he tried upon the Bonus Mission.

The more time ticked, the more he felt fear clutching him and his instinct screaming ESCAPE! After thirty minutes, all that disappeared!

His intuition no longer aggravated his tension. He activated Omni-view but no one was on the Island. In fact, the Force-field was active and he would have sensed if something touched it.

Still, he stayed—cowardly—within the embrace of the Yellow Sand.

But… if he was standing, he would have seen a Four-headed Monster peeking at his Island, just beyond the Force-field. Not seeing anyone, it left. Many other Beasts and Monsters of different shapes and horror peeped through, seeing no one, they drove away!

Since his Omniscient-view was limited within his Island, he couldn't see them!

Elias Island was literally drifting amidst a plethora of Chaotic Beasts and Monsters—each one with unique vicious and menacing forms. Some of them were drifting on small Islands, but most of them were walking on the murky water!

Hundred meters away from Elias Island was an Island belonging to a huge man with a large battle-axe fighting a nimble spider, the size of a palm!

It was a bad match, but he was able to keep up with its speed and defend and attack at the same time, but….!

From the beginning, the spider was just playing with him. When it decided the fun was over, it stopped running. And jumped fast and attacked precisely his head!

The man adjusted in time, activating the axe skill and slashed with all his strength, the axe released pale rigorous energy… and when the sharp edge of the axe met with the Spider, it was as if he had struck an immovable mountain of metals!

The rebound rattled his body, the axe cracked and shattered and his hand broke. However, that didn't reduce the spider's speed as it went through his head, exploding it!

Dead!

Finishing with him, it jumped far and landed on Elias Island Force-field. It was about to destroy it but seeing no one was inside. It jumped, landing on another Island a kilometre away!

Elias jittered when he sensed something touching the Force-field, but the threat left. He sighs in relief!

The Third Trial is an absolute slaughterhouse!

Countless empty Islands were drifting back to the Second Trial. Adding to the number of the countless Myriad Islands there. Maybe a lucky Islander may chance upon them to merge.

Sometimes Islands left by dead Islanders, absorb the Treasures on them and that may invoke special elements on them and the Islands become Special!

That was what Elias learned after he escaped being turned into a Special Island!

He was having those thoughts in fear when his Island bumped into something... but nothing happened after.

He sighed and looked at the timer.

[15 minutes remain]

'Move faster!' He thought.

[Forceful Merging]

[Tug Of War Between Two Islanders]

[Elias Island Controls 50%]

[50% Belong To the Invader]

Elias' panicked but worse, the sand shifted and spit him out. Beyond his Island Force-field was a black feline Beast with Golden Eyes peeking at him—it grinned when it saw him out!

With a light tap, the Force-field was destroyed and then it walked in as if it owned the place!
