Three more large Boomer Birds dived down, they move with precision to avoid any arrow that may spring from the Island, alas it wasn't the arrows that they should worry about, it was the Metal Dust Cloud that spread 10m above the Dome and formed another Dome, shielding the Island from top to bottom.
And… the density of the Dust Cloud was increasing!
The Alpha Flamingo quickly ordered them to stop, before it screeched and hundreds of different Bird species dived down.
[Ore Eaters]
The Alpha had realized the strange Creative Bipedal Creature can manipulate metal and that was why it came with these special Birds.
Ore eaters have different breeds among them, some feed on rocks, minerals and some metal rocks.
Ore eater that was brought feeds on metals in particular. In fact, the moment the metal dust came out, some of them began to show their desire to fly toward it.
They dive now not on a suicidal mission of breaking the Dome, but to feed on the metal Dust Cloud. Elias was smiling because his move had made him feel the inflation of danger reduced then... he frowned.
The dust was reducing in weight. He concentrated and felt it through the Telekinesis. And find small Birds his palm-size are having feasts as if they found a grain.
He quickly retracted the Dust Cloud back on his Island and the Birds followed inside. He allowed them to pass. And in just a few moments the Dust was almost finished.
It was then that three Boomer Birds dived down. Elias released numerous small arrows killing some of the Ore Eaters and scaring the rest away, at the same time he concentrated on waiting for the clash between his Island Dome and the Boomer Bird…
Bloom!
The Island swayed and Elias's mind went dizzy before he reorient himself, the next attack came and destroyed the Dome!
At the same time, smaller Boomer Birds dived, along the way, most of them exploded when they met with the remnants of metal dust that Elias raised and only a few of them reached him.
An Automated Mechanism opened on the wall of Elias Bunker and tens of arrows were shot every second, killing them.
[Your Island is being invaded]
And more batches kept joining until they reached Elias Island and started to explode on it.
Targeting every structure and any place that was shooting an arrow or seemed to carry anything lethal.
While the rest just detonated everywhere even if there was nothing!
But the greater number of them were smashing onto Elias' Bunker and exploding, trying to break through!
Then a large Boomer Bird the size of a human, dived down aiming at his Bunker, while still making sure no arrow or spear was aimed at it.
All this control and precise action of the Boomer Birds were governed by the Alpha Bird, Flamingo—the Dread Bird—above.
Booom!
The Island shook and swayed almost tilting, smoke rose from the Island as everything seemed to be burning.
But the annoying part was that the Bipedal Beast's Bunker was still standing!
Alpha Flamingo squats its eyes. It saw the Bipedal Beast come out in the fire and smoke and pull out and activated some kind of mechanism it never uses from the sand, and then it aimed in a random direction.
Seeing the Bipedal Beast brought a glowing red arrow, the Alpha frowned and was about to escape when the Bipedal Creature aimed somewhere!
It looked to the direction where the army of Boomer Birds was and discerned if the Creature was aiming there, then it would have to command them to move away as it knew that the red spear will cause them to explode, but it was aiming at the other small Birds, the Ore Eater!
The Alpha used its eyes skill and zoomed the eyes of the Bipedal Beast and discerned that it was unfocused but its hand was still holding a stick!
He was blind all this time, and now angry that his Island was on fire!
He had seemed to do that all the time and the Alpha speculated that it was just an Erection that some Beasts experience when they are in danger! (•.•)
Despite its remark, it had ordered some Birds to go around and attack from the sides, not directly from above.
Woosh!
Still, knowing it was stupid to shoot the Ore Eaters with the large red spear, the Alpha still made them move out of the way.
The Bipedal Beast began to shoot the glowing red spears, aiming in almost all directions.
As the seconds passed, the spears were shot while the batch of Birds attacking from the side, almost arrived.
Amidst the tens of glowing red spears shot, one red spear almost touched one of the Ore Eaters when it evaded time—but… the spear did graze the tiny Ore Eater.
Everything seemed to flow like normal for a second, but then, the grazed Ore Eater exploded and another chain reaction of explosion rang out with deadly shots of metal shards everywhere.
The Boomer Birds that were far away were easily affected by the shooting shards and they began to explode, further illuminating the night sky, raising a deafening sound affecting—the entire Alpha Flamingo Wave.
It was said—Give a Man enough Resources and Time, and he will Conquer the World and... expand Beyond—
—The greatest ability of Humanity was their talent to harness Knowledge and transform it into Creativity—
The more Elias fought, the more he synchronized with the Island, and at the same time that gave him learned and understood many things he didn't understand before.
His Mental Fortitude might be reduced due to the constant pressure, but his Mental Capacity was also increasing, allowing him to make use of his new Brain Processing Power to read and understand the Birds' movement and their tactics and how better to counter them!
One of the preparations he made was the Metal Dust Cloud. To him, it was one thing that allowed him to fight the Birds with equal force.
But the coming of Boomer Birds proved to oppose that as their explosion used up the Metal Dust and cleared away for Birds to invade. But he held on because he had enough Dust to last him days in that kind of confrontation. Sadly, his real opponent—Alpha Flamingo—was smart too.
It had brought something that could perfectly counter the Metal Dust Cloud—the Ore Eater—the Birds began to eat away the Metal Dust like millet grains before a chicken.
At that moment Elias thought in seconds and cooked up something—the use of Wure Liquid—it made sweat susceptible to catching fire!
Elias refused to believe that they could digest that Metal Dust in a short period.
He took back the Dust to the Island and allowed the Ore Eater Birds to follow. There were barrels of Wure Liquid he planned to use for something, but he made the Dust sink and filled the Barrels, forcing the Ore Eaters to drink and eat the Metal Dust at the same time.
And when he sensed another attack, he shot arrows which scared them and he allowed them to pass through the Dome and flew away.
Accordingly, he allowed himself to take the beating from the Boomer Birds, added with the Wure Liquid around, the fire of the explosion was dazzling!
The Ore Eaters fed on Metal Dust and Wure Liquid but prior to allowing them on the Island Elias he had spread miniature containers in form of balls, the size of a grain, filled with—his deeply influenced Fog—which he can roughly pinpoint its direction.
He had learned that the Fog he kept on his body was akin to his second senses. Though he can only affect a small amount.
The glowing red spear was made using Red Iron with special properties that held on to heat energy just by storing it in a hot place. And when that grazed an Ore Eater, it ignited the Wure it drank and the fact that their Crop was like a Furnace it exploded—and created a chain reaction that brought the half of the Wave down!
While that was happening, Elias was listening in the underground Bunker and the Dome was raised again.
