Her two partners that were waving at her, were still standing but their necks spraying blood and their heads have just dropped to the ground. 

Another 3 of her partners that were seated holding scanners also lack heads on their shoulders, blood drenching the devices.

Two of her partners with binoculars were observing the island she came from and report any suspicious movement to have their heads rolling away from their bodies.

They died just before… she pulled herself up! 

And then—her head saw her body standing at the edge of her island, blood sprouting from her clean-cut neck, the eyes even blinking before the light went off from them! Till the end, they didn't see or heard what killed them!
