CH31: ONE CLEAR WINNER
" Let this fight, BEGIN" Max and the girl quickly stood up and took defensive stances. Max had his fists surrounding his face while the girl had one in front of the other. They stood there, facing each other in a deadly silence. Some of the teens watching got bored and shouted, " Are you gonna fight or kiss?" Max shrugged off the remark and concentrated on his rival. The girl then raised her leg and ran to Max. It was pretty slow compared to Max's fire walk so he simply moved aside. Upon seeing her move deflected, the girl fell to the ground and tackled Max. Max fell with a thud and the girl quickly wrapped her legs on his neck. Her strength was no where close to Max's so he easily removed her legs from his neck and stood up saying, " Your pretty strong, for a girl." The girl got mad at Max and her arms started to light up. Just like Max, she had firearms but her fire was blue. Max could feel the heat even though he was a few feet away from her.
The girl started running again but she was much more faster this time. Max barely dodged her attack this time but she wasn't done yet. Now that she was facing his back, the girl raised her leg and round house kicked Max. Max could feel more force from that kick, in fact, the force was much greater that Max was knocked down onto the ground. The girl jumped a few feet in the air and was landing straight for Max's head. Max quickly dodged her attack and grabbed her by the leg. He then got up, flipped her over and went for a punch. The girl prepared her face for a hit only to see Max's fist over her face.
" Your a little tacky for a fighter."
" And your a little cocky for a leader." The girl punched Max right across his face with her firearm causing a large scar on his face.

" You may have regeneration but it doesn't scare me." The girl ran to Max and went for another punch. Max dodged one after the other making her get upset. She then jumped and kneed him on the chin, making him fall again. Without stopping, the girl went on top of Max and kept punching him over and over again.

[C'mon fireman. Wake up and fight.]
Max had enough of it. He grabbed the girls arms and pressed them with all of his energy. His skin was frying but the girl was in more pain than he was. " Let..go. Your hurting me."
" You have no idea what pain is."
[ Firearms activated.]
Max kicked the girl on her stomach three times and flipped her over his back. He then grabber her by the neck and lifted her off the ground. She was chocking as her skin was burning but that was the least of her problems. Max let go off her and said, " Hit me with your best shot." The girl jumped and tried kicking Max on the face again.
[ Fire walk activated]
Max dodged the attack and retaliated with a kick of his own. The girl was sent flying into the crowd who pushed her back into the fight. " He mastered the fire walk. No holding back now." The girl's body started lighting up similar to Max's FRS state. Her body then dispersed into thin air, making everyone think she gave up.
*Ding*

*Look, up in the sky.* A shining bird was hovering over Phoenix's house but rather than being a bird with feathers, it was made entirely out of blue fire. " Is that her. I can do that too!!" The flaming bird swooped down at Max and lifted him high up the air. The bird then threw Max higher and kept scratching him. Max tried holding it, but it was almost invisible so he activated his last skill.
[ Fire Manipulation activated.]
Max threw out fire balls at the flaming bird, causing it to fall to the ground. He then folded his fingers, turning the fireballs into fire nets, capturing the flaming bird. When he and the bird landed back in the backyard, it slowly turned back into the girl Max was fighting. The girl didn't wake up again so Max ordered for her to be taken to one of the mansion's many rooms.

After the dual, Max had decided that the second slot was for her, leaving one more free position.

Pharaoh and Xin returned to their warehouse exhausted and defeated. They failed to locate Fang ever since he ran away from Lidong. Pharaoh sat on the floor and hung his head in disappointment and shame. Xin couldn't stop pacing around the room as she snared at Pharaoh. " How could you do that dummy. Do you see what has happened to us No one is going to join our gang now.We've lost everyone and everything." She yelled.
" We can still be a gang, you know. Just me and you."
" Two people. A gang isn't made up of two people. Two people is a group, a coupe a buddy team not a gang. Gosh Pharaoh, you're so...so stupid. Aaaahh." Xin flipped a couple of chairs and trashed the whole warehouse. As she was releasing some steam, she came across the burnt case that belonged to Lidong.
" This, this thing. It brought all of our problems. I've had enough of this town. I have a preposition Pharaoh. Since this town brought us trouble, let's return the favor. What do you say?" Pharaoh looked Xin in her vengeful eyes and agreed with her. " Together, we will bring this place to its knees.
