Not giving it any time to recover, Jesua leapt onto its back, aiming her sword for a weak spot between its armored shell and the exposed flesh beneath. Just as her sword neared its target, a surge of water exploded from the Crab Man's body, throwing her back. The surge nearly knocked her off her feet, but Jesua was quick to regain her balance, her body fluid as she landed.
"I can't get in close too easily!" Jesua called out, her voice a mixture of frustration and determination.
Sylus was facing off with a larger Crab Man, whose trident now crackled with water energy. The creature swung the trident down in a downward slash, the water condensed into a razor-sharp blade that would have sliced through Sylus with ease if he didn't react quickly enough. He leaned backward, feeling the trident's edge brush past his robes.
