Once Upon the Magic Mirror

"You're only justifying yourself," Kafka began. "No merit in your words, whatsoever. Your senses underwhelmed you and now, you only want to say you've actually made something out of the chaos. Yeah, I should have known! You were always the kind of person who troubles anyone at any given time without committing to the problems you caused them. No apologies and only a singular expression of gratitude: no actual consideration for their individualities."

Words were abridged: he didn't understand anything.

Even if I yearned for his understanding, it wasn't replicated.

"Aside from the people you hold dear," and moreover, he forced his unannounced coup de grace, "our class, for you, is only a collective!"

I'm paraphrasing, of course.

He's crude for words.

It's quite unrelated to everything that's been happening, nor was it ever built as a 'school bond' story in the first place.

However, it did beg to be considered on the side: concerning it made extra content for the subplot.
