Once Upon the Frantic Recombobulation

Mage schools in Nichiyoubi have a strict policy with its classroom system: classes consist of thirty students each. Should a student be rendered unable to attend or refuse, the class stays as it is without unprecedented additions. Exchange or transfer is not acknowledged, they can't be replaced and the numbers should not increase by even a single unit.

I don't know how the system behind it works, but there were rumors saying it was magic.

A rather romantic conjecture where the bigwigs think about the disposition of their students. Like, interactions and environments where they are expected to thrive more than a slightly different situation. I'd say it's an issue of differentiated management, but anything goes even if hypocrisy is attached.

Not that it was what I wanted to point out.

When an addition was introduced, everything about the rule has crumbled.
