Once Upon the Paradox of Spear and Shield

Although for the shortest time, for about a year and two weeks now, I have mustered fear of the Human Side.

Not to announce condescension, beginning from the fact that our plane of existence has always regarded them our worst nemesis.

Even worse than vampires.

I've never built vampires as another stock feature for the universe: only take note, Mages have a long history with the blood bats.

Yes, we coexist, and the natural order of being prey and predator continues in the present. It wouldn't stop until the eradication of the other, either ending in quintessential harmony or distraught extinction. Our relationship is reasonable, for better or for worse.

For the case of Humankind though─ask any elderly Mage and they'd say for the worst.

I'd not state the reason why this is their sentiment.
