The Dinner.

**

Urmi stood in front of the giant mirror in her room. Her long Auburn hair was carefully groomed. The green straighten gown she wore fit her slim figure.

She put on a light make up because her mother insisted on doing that. When Salem told her that Karan had recovered. Urmi was happy.

If there was anyone who knew the pain of losing a sibling then it's was. She lost all of them in a day. A pain that became an agony and an agony which later seemed like a curse.

She still recalled the day of the funeral. Urmi stared into their faces, telling them to stand and prove to her that death was a liar but they didn't. Rather, they laid still without moving. Even when their bodies were kept on the pile of woods, they did not move. When the fire was lit, she did not hear their screams. They lay like the dead people they were.
