Wilderness poisoning

Clark threw his arms up and kept everyone back from the squirming blood needle worms. He quickly warned them all of the dangers that came with these parasites. But before he could have Ralph begin to burn them more with his dragon welp and molten boar team, it started to drizzle.

Normally, a little rain would be fine. This was clearly a passing natural rain shower. However, it was at a time that would make things smooch more dangerous than they should be. The blood needle worms could be able to travel on land much more easily while it rained. They needed the cooler environment that the rain and water brought.

"It's starting to get worse here for us. There shouldn't be parasites to deal with like this. It seems like they were bred to be able to resist being out in the colder air and water. Look, they are still moving in the rain." Clark made the group back away more as the blood needle worms began to squirm toward them.
