Chapter 31: Silent before Storm
"That you don't have to think of as you also had a separate mission other than fighting is to save your friend Mark as he was still alive, the creature had to keep him alive to mimic his voice and powers as you had mentioned to me earlier that he can use his Psychic power" Archimedes said
"That's why I think he still is alive as a Low-level Glendin didn't have power that helps him to shapeshift into anything so it had to keep its victim alive if he wanted to shapeshift for a longer period of time"
"Now let's come to the subject of its power, Glendin always refers to it as the lowest among all the hell creatures but to compensate for its low power it had a high level of intelligence but that for another time to explain"
"As you told me the ranks used in your planet then as per that the Glendin is at mid to high rank10 so the Glendin must still be in its adolescence stage so you had some luck on that spot"
"As it didn't awaken a lot of his skills I guess that only a maximum of 4skill can awaken"
"It already shows us 2 skills is the most common 'shapeshifting' their power is the same as the name means and the other one is 'sacrifice' that is used to vanish from there"
"The 2nd skill needs a sacrifice of a living being to teleport you from one place to another and as the distance increases the amount of sacrifice it needs also increases"
"About the 3rd skill, my guess will be mimicry which can use to copy the movement and fighting style of others but if the skill level is high, it can also copy elemental abilities and many more but you don't have to take tension as it only must have the basic level"
"For the last skill, I had two guesses the first one is 'Multi-form' using it changes its body parts into a different thing at a single time"
"The other one is Anatomical in this skill it can detach its body part and transform them into anything but as it is still a young creature it can only shift into nails, small draggers what makes it dangerous is that it can control its from anywhere if the thing is in their range using their psychic power" Archimedes said
"But don't think as a weak creature as for all of you it will be very tough to get out alive" Archimedes further added into its statement.
"Thank you for the help it will be helpful in the fight" Jason said as knowing the skills of an opponent is better than facing an opponent that you know nothing about.
"Don't be grateful it is the least I can do as you wake me or who knows how many more years it will take and I don't want the first people I get to know about being dead after I awaken" Archimedes said.
"Jason, Captain can you hear us" Suzzy said through their radio.
"What the radio is working here but how" Bhim said when he received the call through the radio.
"Oh, I turned off the signal jammer after I awake" Archimedes said.
"Oh, that's why, Yes Suzzy we can listen to you" Bhim said
"Captain Jerry is out of danger but lily is still had to use some spell to heal him as he lost a lot of blood, how are things going on there" Suzzy asked
"That's good to hear, Jason and I will take care of the situation here no need for you guys to come here just stay there and wait for us" Bhim lied to Suzzy as he didn't want things to get to chaos.
"Ok, captain but there is some slight problem here nothing major to worry about" Suzzy said
"What happened" Jason asked as he finally come out of his mind.
"The headquarter called to check the situation so I had to tell them the truth about what happened and they are very angry towards all of us" Suzzy said
"My dear if they call again then next time tell them to go f*** off, do you understand"
Jason said as he was already enough frustrated and he didn't want to get more hearing the command and bitching of the headquarter
"Ok sir" Suzzy said in a funny tone.
Hearing that is somewhat able to relax Jason from all the pressure.
They continued their chat while they followed Archimedes towards the location.
Finally, 5min later Archimedes suddenly stopped "Jason now we had to part ways you had to go left then you will reach your destination"
"Bhim and I will be taking this route as I was sensing a signal of some alive beings and if I am correct then there will be your Friend mark will be"
"What you can sense things then why don't you alert us before when these creatures are about to start the process to open the portal" Jason asked
"Jason, I didn't have a range that I can know what going on everywhere I only happened to locate this after the burst of energy and I can only sense 200 meters far from me as I am just an Ai even if a highly advance one at that" Archimedes said.
"I am sorry, it's just that I am frustrated right now don't mind my words" Jason said.
"I can understand now go we don't have much time
left and be safe don't attack first analyse the situation, the most important point is don't let it complete the process or there is nothing I can do even if I use my powers so do you understand the situation"
"Now go after rescuing your friend I will come for help even if I can't use my powers but I can give you instructions till then at least make sure to stop the creatures" Archimedes said
"Then I am off make sure to save him" Jason said
"You don't have to think about that I will take care of the situation and make sure to be safe" Bhim said
"I am" Jason said while raising his thumb then he went towards the left while Bhim and Archimedes takes the straight route.
Jason started to get near his location the Amount of mana in the atmosphere started to increase along with a weird pressure he felt almost as if gravity started to increase.
He knows that was not possible as when a person gets awakened gravity doesn't affect them till it is more than 10G force and this amount increases along with the rank of a person.
So, it was not possible and the other thing is this planet nearly had the same gravity as earth so there is not any possibility of this question.
He then reached his destination but when he watched the scenery in front of him, he quickly hid behind one of the machines.
Watching the situation, it's scarred the hell out of him who is trained for years to keep their mind in check every time and not be scarred even facing death.
After taking a few seconds to calm his beating heart he carefully takes a peek in front of him.
Blood all the area is painted in blood with weird symbols all over the place and inside those symbols are huge piles of half-dead monsters of all types.
The most horrifying thing is that every one of them is without any skin on them and he guessed that all of them get their skin butchered while being alive as some of them still move a little bit from time to time.
The skin of the monsters is used to make carpet that leads to a big weird size door as if they are there to welcome whatever will come through the door.
Watching this scene, a fear is generated inside Jason's heart.
"If they can even do this to beats and monsters then I can't even imagine what will they do to humans"
Jason thinks inside his mind as humans are the favourite food and entertainment of hell creatures which he knows from all his experience while facing creatures from hell.
