Chapter 37: Start of Something Big?
When Jason turned towards the location from where the sound was generated, he realises that there is no time left, the portal was already started.
Jason knows that he will only have 3 to 5 minutes more before the portal fully manifests.
Meanwhile Somewhere on Earth....
A person is sitting in a lotus position inside some sort of cave, suddenly he opened his eyes and looked towards the sky from his expression it seems like even being inside a cave he can see everything that is happening outside.
"It seems the Time is almost near, Looks like these old bones need some work to do before that" The person said.
He sounded like he was an old man but he looks quite opposite of that he looks like he is in his mid-30s.
When he finished speaking his words, he suddenly disappeared from the cave as if there is no one there before and all of it is some sort of an illusion.
At the same time somewhere around the Vast universe.
A person approached another person and saluted him first before stating his words "Sergeant Call the Master Sergeant quickly I discovered a new gamma-ray"
"What happened corporal its just a Gamma-ray, what so special about it that I had to call the Master Sergeant"
"Make sure to give a proper reason as I didn't expect any childish behaviour from someone your rank" The Sergeant replied coldly.
"Sergeant believe me it's a very big matter though I can't tell you the reason now till the Master Sergeant is here, it is something big so give me a chance and if I am found wrong I will accept any punishment deemed necessary"
The person said with full confidence, he knew that it was something that can at least promote him to one level.
"You better be right or you can't even imagine what type of punishment you will get, so let me ask you one last time is this your final decision, Corporal" The sergeant asked with a serious aura around him.
Suddenly the corporal started to feel a lot of pressure around him, making him think about whether he sticks with his decision or change it.
He knows he had to take the risk if he wants to get the rewards also if he is deemed correct the risk is not even compared to the rewards he will receive.
So, after gulping down his saliva and gathering all his courage he finally speaks up "Yes Sir that's my final decision".
Instead of replying the Sergeant stares into the of the Corporal for a minute and the pressure around them started to increase.
Felling all this the Corporal started to regret his decision he isn't aware whether he somehow disrespected the sergeant or do something out of his boundaries.
At this moment the pressure suddenly disappeared from the corporal and a smile appeared on the face of the Sergeant.
"It is good that you stick with your decision Corporal, I hope you are right about whatever that thing is, now go the Master sergeant will be here in a few minutes" The sergeant said
"Oh, from now on keep in mind how you speak even if you are excited, you had to keep in mind that we are trained so that we can main our coolness at all times and situations" The sergeant said and then he went away without any further due.
A few minutes later, a person in his 50s wearing a long blue coat walks inside the room and behind him, the Sergeant is following him, whenever someone sees them, they saluted him while showing their full respect, especially to the person in front of the sergeant.
That is not the most striking thing about him instead it is some of the inhuman features he had but all the other people ignored all this as it is not something they didn't see before.
"So, Corporal tell me what did you find that make you, make me come here" Master Sergeant asked.
"Yes sir, let me show it to you, look sir this is the ray I discovered a few minutes ago and with every second the intensity is getting with unimaginable speed"
"So, at first, I thought it some sort of starburst or star collision but when I run a diagnosis on this with other rays till the day we discovered it didn't match any of them"
"What is more confusing is that this is coming from the area Dimention3rd Between area number B12gyu56447 to B12gyu56991"
"It's been 3 minutes till then but still it didn't show any sign that it is going to slow down instead it increased its intensity 100-fold since the time I found it" Said the Corporal.
"You know that this not any moment to joke is you seriously telling me" Master Sergeant asked.
The Corporal just nodded his head, he didn't want to anger the Master Sergeant in any way.
"Step aside let me check it" Master Sergeant commanded and the Corporal followed his order.
Then he started to do all the checks and review all the previous situations and current radio waves they are receiving.
Watching all of this his expression started to get tenser and tenser as he knows something that nobody else knows as a higher command than anyone present here.
"Sergeant, go and quickly make a team of S rank professionals and inform the Mages, wizards,****,****,****….. that we need at least an Adept rank professional within half an hour"
"See if there are any Initiate or SS rank professionals who can reach here within half an hour or else, I will go personally" Master Sergeant commanded the sergeant.
After getting his order the sergeant gives one last salute before going away without questioning anything.
"Corporal you did a good job, you will be rewarded properly for your work and even in future I will accept this type of hard work and loyalty from you for the department"
"You did well not to inform anyone else before me for that you will be rewarded separately and I assume that you will not spread any information to anyone else, now go and wait or rest whatever you want till you get further order from the department" Master sergeant said.
"Yes sir, I am always available for work an anytime" The corporal said and saluted the master sergeant.
"Good, now go I had some work to do" The Master sergeant said to the corporal and then he went away.
Back to the Current situation
While all of this happening all around the universe, Jason had no idea about it and even if he did, he already had his plate full currently.
"Archimedes take Bhim and run away, we don't have any time left" Jason said
"What about you" Archimedes asked
"I had some work to do you guys go first, I will come soon" Jason said but his tone seems like he is ordering Archimedes.
Archimedes didn't argue with Jason then he approached Bhim and before Bhim can protest he knocked him out and silently left the place.
Before that, he didn't forget to give Jason a suggestion or probably the most valuable of all since he said any words.
"If you aren't able to stop the portal before it gets fully active then just this and plunged it into the core which will make it go unstable eventually it will get destroyed but it will create a blast that will powerful enough to destroy this whole planet"
"I will use my power to restrain the blast to only this area but if you do that I will not able to save you"
After saying that Archimedes left the area while carrying, Bhim on his shoulder.
Jason nodded his head to Archimedes then turned towards the creature as an evil grin appeared on his face.
"It's time for me to dance"
