Chapter 105 - Gabriella (2)

The ceremony is short and sweet, their vows making us laugh and cry. And when Angela says, "…what matters to me is that we both share our future together, our happily ever after." I slide my gaze to my husband who's already looking at me. A tear rolls down my cheek, and I feel as though my heart is being squeezed in the best way.

A happily ever after sounds so beautiful. I want that too. I keep my eyes on him and he lightly nods as though he can understand what's on my mind.

"I love you," he mouths.

My smile is wobbly when I nod. I'm hopelessly in love with him too. I want to run to him right this moment and kiss him. But before my urges take over, thunderous applause and whistles fill the backyard, grabbing our attention. I turn just in time to see the bride and the groom kiss. I holler, waving my bouquet in the air, cry-laughing at the beautiful scene before us.
