A Day In The Life Of Little Red Riding Hood

***ALEX'S POV***

Rory and I got to work right after breakfast. There was a pattern and a system to how we chopped the trees in the woods. We made sure that no one area was thinned out too much or that the habitats of the animals were affected. We were living in a fairy tale, and that meant that the little woodland creatures were a priority, just like they should be in the real world as well.

Rory and I chopped down about six trees in all. We dragged them back to the barn at the house, which was decidedly the hardest part of the whole process. The trees were cut into smaller pieces and stacked in the barn.

Now that the trees were stacked in the barn we started to strip the bark off of them and flatten out the edges. It was a good thing that Rory was able to help me, because this was work that definitely went better with two people.
