Master and Apprentice

After the short scene between Emma and Sienna. The two became closer. Sienna glanced at him and asked.

"What are you going to do?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean what are you going to do with the people behind the assassins?" She raised her brow. 'How could he not be concerned with his life?'

"Oh! I'm not surprised by the assault. In the business world, this is to be expected. In the end, they are just small flies. I don't need to care about them." Emma shrugged and entered George's workshop.

What was on his mind was how to solve George's depression. He had the intention of helping George. But his mind was preoccupied with his discoveries in this strange world.

A resounding hit of a Hammer echoed throughout the workshop and a pile of weapons littered the ground. Seeing this, Emma sighed. Instantly, he understood what was happening.

"Old man, are you trying to kill yourself!" Emma shouted from behind. George's hammer froze in the air. He turned his head and looked at Sienna and Emma. He rubbed off the sweats from his forehead and gave a forced smile.

"Just trying to work out these old bones." He chuckled.

"Old man, you don't need to hide it from me. I know you have been working your ass out, trying to forge an uncommon grade weapon."

Hearing this, a sorrowful sigh escaped from George's mouth. He opened his mouth to refute Emma's claim but the world stuck in his throat. The glow in his eyes dimmed and he seems to have aged a couple of decades.

'Do you have to be blunt. Can't you be discreet and help him out.' Sienna rolled her eyes. She wanted to slap Emma's head but she controlled the impulse and glared at him.

Emma didn't care about Sienna glare. He walked toward George and took the hammer from his hand.

"Old man, your technique is good. But you're too rigid with your forging. You need to think out of the box for you to forge an uncommon grade weapon. "

Emma removed his helmet and took off his cloth, flexing his muscles. Seeing this, Sienna rolled her eyes.

Her eyes glowed seeing chisel muscle. 'What a show off.' She snickered but her eyes never left Emma's toned body.

Emma didn't care about how others think about his behavior, he took an ingot and began talking while forging.

Though Emma may be rude, yet when forging the weapon, he didn't hide anything from George. Also, his forging speed was reduced to the lowest speed.

Even if a novice blacksmith was to look at him, he would realize the cruise of forging uncommon grade weapons.

Seeing this, the dimmed glow on George's eyes began to glow. His gaze was fixed on Emma while asking a question subsequently.

After an hour between master and apprentice, though, the case has been reversed. The duo nodded and a radiant smile appeared on George's face.

"Thank you. Though you're my apprentice. You're now my senior in blacksmithing." George said without any hint of sadness. The stone weighing down his heart had been removed by his apprentice.

Why won't he be happy?

"Don't thank me. If you're not a good teacher. I won't have attained where I am today."

>>Lie. How can a young man like you lie with a straight face?

'Oh! Should I have told him I could have achieved this without his help?' Emma asked in disdain.

>>…?

"Of course, I know. Without my impeccable teaching. How could you achieve such height and that's why I'm glad to be your master." George said, puffing out his chest with a sly grin spreading throughout his face.

Emma rolled his eyes and glared at him. But George averted his gaze not caring about Emma's expression.

Sienna looked at the master and apprentice and shook her head. 'Now, I know where this naughty boy learned his shamelessness.'

"Are you two done?" Sienna snapped. She had enough of these two shenanigans.

"Of course not. I need to forge a couple of weapons to get used to forge uncommon grade weapons."

"I, for one. I'm done. You can feel it as long as you like. I've got a lot of work in my hand." Emma shook his head and put on his clothes.

"Why don't you two be together. Since, George could forge uncommon grade weapons and with your recent popularity. He could hone his forging skill better with your fame." Sienna suggested.

George and Emma looked at each and squinted their brow.

"That's a nice suggestion" They both say at the same time.

Sienna chuckled and smiled. Although she had spent enough time with these two. She knew both of them weren't bad people. Now since she was stuck in a barren village. Why not stick with them both? She thought.

"Let's go to my shop. There is enough space for the three of us. My teacher and my teacher could both teach this student one or two things at a time. This student needed a lot of teaching. I'm such a dumb student…." Emma said with a straight face and matched out of the workshop without waiting for their response.

"Punk!" Sienna shouted, raising after him.

A slight smile appeared on George's face. He looked at the two child in front of him and sighed. He looked at his workshop with melancholy. "I guess I need to leave. Don't worry, I will surely be back." He muttered to the thin air.

Inside the Golden Finger Chamber, a middle-aged woman was pacing back and forth with apprehension. 'What possibly has happened to those assassins. They never fail in assassinating their target.'

Creak.

A young man rushed inside, looking at the middle-aged woman with fear.

"Tell me what happened?" She shouted.

"They are dead?" He said slowly.

"How!?"

She froze and her jaw dropped to the ground. Her blood runs cold and the word 'Dead' tolled in her head, making her head scalped.

"How could this happen!?"
