Jealousy is a terrible thing

Isabella stood up from the bench with her phone. Her hazels scanned the place from one corner to another and veered around to understand where the sound had come from.

She unlocked her phone to call someone so that the person who was trying to scare her would understand that she wasn't scared at all. Her phone was connected. If something happened to her, he or she will not get a chance to go away.

The first person she thought of was Alexander, and his house was close to this place. So, he could come faster than the others.

Suddenly, when she was looking down at her phone, a black raven flew above her head, but she felt its paw on her head as it crossed. A jolt shuddered her body, and the phone fell to the ground.

She looked up, placing her hand over her left chest as sweat gather around her forehead. It was an empty park and things are getting weird. She didn't feel like staying here anymore.

Bella turned her body to pick up her phone from the ground. She screamed back when she saw a person standing behind her.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Bella asked back in anger. The atmosphere and the man in front of her frightened her a lot.

"Just strolling. But look at you, a terrified rat. I thought you'd be happy to see me when you are lonely and need someone badly," said Xavier in a relaxed mood.

"Shut up. Give me my phone back," Bella glared, outstretching her hand for her phone and said, minimizing their chat.

"Give me a ride. My bike broke down when I found Alexander's car outside the store. When I ask a lady, she said the car driver is a lady. And.....d... I found you," Xavier answered, giving her phone back with a cheeky smile, looking annoyed.

"I am not in the mood for a joke," Bella answered, looking down at her phone to see if the phone cracked.

"Why are you hostile toward me? From the very first day, you haven't talked to me well," asked Xavier, holding Bella in the place as if he didn't want Bella to go away. The devil had something in his mind that may be good for Bella or the worst.

Bella looked up and felt like her tongue-tied and she couldn't speak. His word wasn't completely a lie. She did dislike him from the first day for no reason.

"I need to go home. I-I am not hostile, it is just my character," Isabella denied with an awkward face, her pose had become uncomfortable. She couldn't be rude and didn't have an answer to his question.

"But when you're with Alexander, I find you different," Xavier escalated the situation a bit and pushed Bella further. He wanted to know many things that had been hidden inside her.

"She's my girlfriend, that is why she's different around me," came another stern voice from behind, startling Bella only, as Xavier had already known of Alexander's presence.

A pretty smile broke on Bella's face as she walked to Alexander. It was her instant reaction to see the person she liked to be with.

"How did you find me?" Isabella asked. Why did she feel that two of them were following her or how could a coincidence that two of them appeared where she was?

"I have a location tracker in my car. This is just for security. But why didn't you bring the driver?" Alexander asked in an obnoxious tone, pulling his eyebrows together.

When he came to know that Bella had left the driver behind and went out with the car, he got furious and immediately left the mansion. He had a complicated expression that Bella noticed. But she wasn't a teenager. Then what was the reason?

"It's just a fifteen-minute drive, so I thought about driving," Isabella replied softly, looking into his eyes. And she didn't break the rule either. So why he was mad? She couldn't figure it out.

"Let's go home," Isabella heard Alexander as she saw him stare at Xavier. She followed him with her eyes back to the person. She saw the two staring at each other as if a silent war was going on.

"Alright," she muttered, taking initiative. She held his hand and Alexander shifted his eyes back to the petite woman as her warm palm warmed his heart. His expression relaxed a little.

Holding her hand, Alexander headed straight out of the park where a black SUV was waiting. Bella wanted to rebut, but a black storm was still rolling over his head and that didn't give her the strength to ask questions.

She got in and the door shut while Alexander was in the driver's seat with a straight face, making her upset.

"Can you tell me what happened? Is this all because I didn't bring your chauffeur?" Isabella's bitter voice asked.

"No," Alexander grumbled one word out, driving the car. And that's it. He didn't add the rest.

In the park, Xavier sat in the same place where Bella had sat earlier. Taking his eyes up, he looked at the sky and shouted, "Come out, Angela." With a smiling mood, only he knew the reason. Your castle is breaking down, Satan.

Immediately, with a little wind, a figure appeared behind a tree. She walked ahead, leaving the tree, but she did not leave the tree unharmed as she pulled the tree out from the soil, bringing death.

"Jealousy is a terrible thing, Angela. If I wasn't here today, you'd almost be the cause of your death," Xavier laughed at the woman.
