"Understand Human..."

"Well looks like I am going to have some company after-school." Feng said with a smug look on his face and Ling was just about to hit him right in his head if not for Ning jolting her back.

"Ling don't start again and think of a way to go back." Ning said as she pulled her with all her strength.

.

"An umbrella or raincoat will help a lot you know." Feng said as he looked at Ling, "...but then again we don't have any of them nor the money."

Four of them sighed.

"Feng Ge, any tips for a newbie? You know so that I could clean fast and go back home?" Yuan asked as he put his hands on his shoulders.

.

"Sorry but when it comes to cleaning there is no shortcut." Feng said in a serious tone while Yuan nodded in defeat.

"Ita going very hard but don't worry as long as I am here, you ladies won't have to do any work." Yuan said as he patted his chest.

And *thack!*

"Shut up! None of us are going to get punished well except for Feng of course."

"Can't you use your mouth with me too? Why violence always, you know I still need to use this half empty brain of mine."

"Yuan you deserved it so shut it. And look it stopped raining. We can go now." Feng said as he smiled.

.

"No we can't...." Everyone turned towards Ning who was looking at other direction. "...the teacher is here and he saw us."

"YOU KIDS! WHO ARE YOU?" He asked as he ran towards them the four of them looked at each other and then ran with all their might until and unless they reached their school in less then 10 minutes.

.

"Wow---We did it! We reached school just in time!" Yuan said as he raised his hand to high five but no one bothered to do it.

"So cold"

"Do you think he knows who we are?"Feng asked after he caught his breath.

"No he doesn't as long as he has got a bad eyesight." Ning said as she looked at them.

.

"You sure?" Ling asked and Ning nodded her head.

"101% sure."

"Then there is no need to worry." Ling said as she and Ning climbed the wall as the boys helped them.

"But how are you so sure?" Yuan asked as the girls sat on top of the wall read to jump down.

.

"She is good at reading faces, really good so trust her." Ling said as she jumped down the wall soon followed by Ning.

Both the boys looked at ecah other and shrugged soon following the girls.

.

The rest of their day went peacefully, there was news about the teachers searching for students who bunked the classes but much to their surprise even though they passed through the teacher whom they saw at the mall, he wasn't able to recognize them.

"Ning you are surely something else." Yuan said as he clapped his hands while Ning just gave out a small smile.

"But how is possible? You saw him for a minute and you were able to guess his mind so fast?" Yuan asked in excitement.

.

"I didn't read his mind...I just studied his expressions...." Ning said in a tiny voice hoping she was making sense.

"You sound experienced." Feng commented as Ning looked at her hands under the desk.

"Yeah...Experience..." She said with a cold look in her eyes as she shivered a bit but no one noticed it as the teacher entered the class.

.

After School,

Yuan and Ling went for their practice leaving Feng who was getting ready to leave for his cleaning duties and Ning who was packing her bag in a daze.

"...Then see you tomorrow..." Feng said as he picked up his bag and left the classroom.

Ning sat thier looking at his back until he dissapered, she then looked around the classroom and than at the sky.

.

She then thought about her dayout today, the smiles she gave out and the smiles she received, the funny jokes they cracked and the small arguments they had and unknowingly they bought a smile on her face but as she opened her eyes they disspaered with a questioning and longing look on her face.

"Everything....so perfect...do I deserve this?" She asked herself while looking at the three benches ahead her belonging to the three friends she has.

Not realizing, Feng was outside the classroom all along holding onto a can of juice for Ning.

.

Few hours later,

Feng returned to his apartment with a puzzled look on his face, and the most surprising thing was the fact that even though he walked around the town and ran for hours plus did the cleaning duty for another 2 hours...he didn't feel even a bit of tired...maybe because his mind was too captivated by today's event to feel any physical pain.

.

He took his time to clean himself, have his dinner ,do his homework and fianlly get to bed but sleep didn't come his way which frustrated the hell out of him.

"Am I suffering from insomnia?" He questioned himself before drinking a cup of warm milk and playing the video of Ning siting in the classroom with a remorseful look on her face over and over again.

.

Until his phone started ringing and bought him back to reality,

"Hello my dear man~" His mother cooed form the next side of the call.

"Hello to you too my dear lady~"

"Hmm, what wrong with your voice today? You sound cheerful yet sad."

"Nothing Mom...I was just thinking about something."

.

"...Want to it share with mom?" She aksed softly.

Feng thought for a while and answered,

"Mom, how do we understand people? Espically when that person has lots of faces...not in bad way though..."

.

There was a small silence when his mother let out a sigh and said in a soft tone,

"Son, just give them and yourself time...maybe if one day that person feels fully safe with you then maybe that person will stop hiding and show you the real them."

"Son, we never know what one has been through so be patient with eveyone...be kind." She said while Feng just hummed and closed his eyes with sleep finally hitting his head.

.

On the other side,

Ning was on her bed writing her daily diary entry with the juice can on the side.
