Chapter 36 - Destruction Of Anyone Who Dares Stand Before Me

"First option is tell me the truth, or second I take you as an enemy and attack. But, don't make me do something I'd regret later on." Felix arrogantly spoke as he gazed into the red eyes of Thundra, his aura slowly retracting.

Thundra gazed at Felix who was purposely dropping his defences to lure her into her attack, then shook her head with a wry smile. "You won. If you want to know what I am, I'm a vampire. Happy now?"

"A vampire? You don't seen like one except for your hair your eyes and your teeth. Yeesh, what do you eat?" Felix thought as he subconsciously rubbed his neck as soon as his emotions returned. He imagined Thundra sinking her teeth into his neck then shivered.

"Want me to demonstrate? On the house." Thundra flashed a naughty grin as she bared her fangs after noticing Felix's naturally warm and welcoming aura returned. Seeing Felix was reluctant, Thundra shook her head then spoke out, "Oh no worries, it actually doesn't hurt. Flaming Maiden says it feels... good."

"Say, how- Y-You bi-bit F-Flaming... W-What?" Felix who was about to speak, bit came to a stuttering stop upon hearing Thundra's words. He suddenly felt a chill blow across his neck. "I'm a mutant! My blood won't taste good... right?"

"Thundra, who's this and why are you talking to him as if you guys are familiar with one another." Demon Hunter finally garnered the courage to speak after being stunned momentarily.

"Him- hehe. This is Felix. Felix from the future." Thundra smiled and spoke with a bright smile on her face only to receive a pair of sharp eyes peering into the side of her head. With a wry smile she added, "Man, they nearly bought it. Guys, Felix evolved. And he knows the truth about Heroism." Thundra said as she gave a bright smile only to receive two dumb stares in return.

Felix who had turned to explain to Thundra suddenly froze, before his eyes darted to the side.

----

Outside the inn where Felix and his team were residing, a group of heavily armed men lined up outside. Behind them was a ferocious blue wolf held back to a sturdy pole by transparent chains.

The wolf was a huge as a car, surpassing the height of an average human. It's gleaming white teeth were bared in hostility as the wolf faced a man with a small axe in his hands.

"I thought Big Bang said that little brat was here, and hadn't level yet? It's been days and the kid hasn't stepped out of the building." A tall broad chested man with a dark scar across his face spoke out as he stomped his fierce red hammer against the ground, "We are getting tired and restless. Big Bang didn't pay for patience of this run, but for our pride as Dark Fist gangsters..."

"Scarface Viper, if that kid dares to come out of the inn..."

Scarface Viper who was no less than 1.9 metres tall, looked down to the dark haired man speaking below him. With his grip tightened around the handle of his red hammer as large as a grown child, and his eyes flashing with a domineering light, he scoffed.

The man below him was confused, did Scarface Viper think he was unable to beat down the kid in the inn? His strength was over 10 points, and he was on the verge of evolution! Although he wasn't as monstrous as Big Boss or Scarface Viper, he believed he was more than enough to take down some punk kid.

"Besides Small Crow, we're not the insurance of putting down obstacles that'll disrupt out steady growth..." Scarface Viper turned to the ferocious blue wolf and dastardly patted it on the head, "This baby is."

Small Crow felt a slight tingle on his scalp as he laid his eyes on the growling blue wolf large enough to gobble him up in one bite.

A Water Guard Wolf at youth phrase with strength reaching 3 Stars, the peak strength of all normal creatures. It is said that a stomp from it was sufficient to flattened a box of thick metal.

It against a little kid...

----

Oblivious to the fact that a squad of gangsters were outside waiting with a monster for him, Felix paced around nervously with his hands in his pockets.

Thundra sat on the bed, Flaming Maiden laid on the couch and Demon Hunter who had quickly changed into a tight purple dress.

"So Thundra, you said that something is happening in your world? An army of light firing people? A glowing sphere the size of a stadium?" Felix's eyes flashed with an anxious light as he pulled his hands out of his pockets and held his chin, "I might know who is bold and stupid enough to do that, but... I believe it me stepping in might cause problems on the space time continuum."

Suddenly, all the eyes in the room shifted to Felix. Flaming Maiden lifted her right brow, Demon Hunter had a dumb gleam in her eyes, and Thundra had a tight frown.

"Ahem! Ladies, please. I was just joking, there's no truth in what I said just now, but why do I have to be dragged into Thundra's mess?" Felix said as he removed his hands from his chin and dug it into his pockets. He wasn't going to think or use his powers here- one of the only way one can hone their mental skills is to face mental challenges like...

Avoiding to follow a vampire into a parallel world, and dragging that vampire to your parallel world.

"Why do you want me to be involved in your world's mess?" Thundra's red pupils gleamed as her frown tightened even further. Somehow, she felt like Felix was very dumb today.

'Hone one skills... Hone- bah! The motto 99% talent and 1% training is mine! Who wants to hone skills? Boring and tiring.' Felix thought as his once dull and blunt expression suddenly turned sharp in an instant.

"Let's cut a deal then..." Felix said with a smile as he drew his hands out of his pockets and summoned his blue sword, "It's very simple actually... follow me or die!"

Thundra's pupils contracted at the bright gleam of the blue sword- An Epic Weapon! Her canines elongated once more as her contracted eyes burst out in a faint red light.

Demon Hunter and Flaming Maiden both gave themselves knowing look before instinctively dashing a good distance away... Not without grabbing a box of popcorn laying on the desk first.

Felix shook his head with a wry smile on his face. He actually didn't want to hurt a friend, but didn't want to follow her into a battle with his opposition race- Humans!

Not only would it cause tremendous trouble for him if he was caught, but also lead to a few variations in theory against mutants- Mutants were creatures existing years before the Cosmic Boom; Mutants were able to travel across worlds, their danger level is immense... all mutants must be hunted down and eliminated...

Thundra on the other hand would perfectly blend into society- unless she's some blood-hungry b*tch who wants to destroy all human life. She'll be fine as long as she keeps a good diet.

"Thundra, I really don't want to hurt you since you're a good creature. So let's just drop this, and you come with me eh?" Felix hadn't blinked twice before Thundra came hurtling towards him like an arrow shot out from a bow. His silver eyes flashed as he instinctively de-summoned his sword and drew out his gun.

Thundra's face turned even paler at the sight of the monstrosity in Felix's hands. She had dared to attack just now, because she knew Felix wasn't proficient in sword fighting. Only a single execution of Dark Steal, and the epic weapon would have an owner swap.

But, when Felix held a cold-blooded long-ranged weapon... Not only was it impossible to take, but his skill was shocking to the beholder.

Bang Bang Bang Bang!

Rapid Shot- four bullets! Felix's lips curved up into smug smirk as he dashed backwards, then sidestepped. That was enough to kill, but...

Thundra came tumbling down like a crashing tide after losing her momentum. Shock and fear was written all over her face as she plummeted to the ground.

Felix blew the imaginary smoke rising from his energy gun muzzle, spins the gun in his hands before putting it back in his inventory.

Crunch~!

Demon Hunter finally chewed the popcorn thrown into her mouth during the battle. It wasn't even enough to call a battle, but a fantasy where a human defeated a vampire without hitting even once.

Felix who had finally smiled shook his head as he remembered a battle where he was trying to defeat Nix without hitting her. The demoness with her speed ability became a spectre of the training grounds.

Trying to strike her was a pipe dream, trying to defeat her without striking was nothing short of stupidity. Compared to training with a super speed monster like Nix, Thundra with her perfectly high reaction rate, but lower speed was a perfect test subject.

"I told you... It is shameful and unmanly to attack a woman. Especially a friend." Felix said as he took a bow, he entire being was exuding an aloof and arrogant aura.

Strongest mutant? Can the strongest mutant rule the world? The universe?

Now I extend that promise- I will become the greatest villain who transcends beyond the scope of limitless power.

Heroes or villains alike, anyone who dares stand in my way would be destroyed!
