I Really, Really Like You

Gwen was still abysmal at bowling on her second attempt. She really needed to practice this more when Hunter wasn't around but it wasn't like she had money to spare on it.

She barely got her first paycheck on Friday and it had all gone into her meager savings account aside from what was needed for rent and groceries. She spent less on groceries than she would have originally anticipated because someone was always cooking something and willing to share. Plus Hunter took her out to eat a lot and she always brought home leftovers.

Seeing her bank account balances go up—even if it was only by a little less than a thousand dollars—made her feel a lot better about the world in general. She wouldn't be in this situation forever.

Gwen didn't need much. All she really wanted was a studio apartment to call her own and some savings to fall back on in case of an emergency.
