It's Complicated

Callie hated being in therapy. She hated rehashing things she would rather forget. But she knew this was supposed to help her so she bravely soldiered on despite wishing she could quit.

She couldn't help but wonder if Adam had been in therapy as she watched him continue to be depressed on and off. She didn't want to be a nag but he could probably benefit from it too. Losing his friends, his face, his leg, and his way of life all in one go was a lot to deal with.

She wished there was more she could do for him. She felt pretty stupid after asking if there was something that could be done about his face since that seemed to be one of the biggest things that made him depressed.

Of course he had already tried everything and exhausted his options. It was dumb even to ask.

Callie wished things would get better for him. She didn't want him to keep twisting himself into a pretzel trying to do things for her and Carter that would hurt him.
