Please Be What I Think You Are

Richard spent nearly two months going out on blind dates that were slowly going nowhere. He never went out with the same woman more than a few times because he could tell they would be trouble for pulling off his plan. 

Too greedy. Too interested in romance. Too high maintenance. 

This was never going to work. There were few things he hated more than wasting his time and this was the biggest waste of time he had dealt with in years. 

He was never going to find someone who fit his specifications like this. Especially not in the timeframe he needed it. Organically developed relationships took time and that was something he was short on. 

What he really needed was to get married within the next year and get started on having a child immediately. His grandfather wouldn't change the will until a child was born. That would  be suspiciously fast unless the pregnancy was an accident and he married the mother to take responsibility.
