Look At Us All Being Family Men

Richard Steele sat in the audience of his daughter's ballet recital thinking about how well he had managed to figure out the whole work-life balance thing. Which he never would have imagined happening. If someone told him that he would be here now eight years ago, he would have laughed directly in their face.

Ballet recitals were not his scene. But he had attended so many of them at this point. Ice skating recitals too.

He dutifully sat in the audience and filmed whoever was performing while Laney kept whatever kid was squirming from having to sit still distracted. Karina hadn't liked sitting through Lissy's recitals when she was little any more than her younger sister Clara did right now.
