STARTING A HUNT II

Whiles King Francis was occupied with his thoughts, a middle-aged man who had receding hairline and wore an exquisite set of clothes entered the king's throne room slowly after announcing his presence outside.

This man was no particularly important person in the king's ranks, only holding a furtive position as a personal butler and the chief messenger for the king. Even though he wasn't particular important, he was still high above normal soldiers and civilians in terms of authority.

However, meeting his lord who was known for his wastefulness, ruthlessness and overall for having an unpredictable nature, the messenger felt his anxiety reach dangerous heights and his blood pressure threaten to skyrocket as he immediately fell to one knee before king francis, cast his gaze downward and slapped his right arm above his chest in a respectful greeting.
