Alert

As Chase followed Jeremy through the dimly lit corridor leading away from the garage, he couldn't help but notice Jeremy glancing back at him.

It wasn't just a fleeting glance—it was an almost protective look, as though Jeremy was trying to reassure him without words. Chase appreciated it, but at the same time, it left him conflicted.

He knew Jeremy cared about him and has freling for him, romantic feelings, but his thoughts weren't focused on Jeremy at all. His feelings were preoccupied—with the vampire, with Arrow, with the overwhelming chaos of everything they were going through.

The grip on his hand tightened, and Chase glanced down to see Arrow clutching him, his face filled with unease.

"Are you okay?" Arrow asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper. His bright eyes darted around the shadowy stairwell they were descending, the walls pressing in around them. "Where are we? I don't like this place."
