Rose tried to ignore the glances that were thrown her way. Work being the only thing that kept the suspicious glances from turning into an interrogation.

Avoiding eye was the best way to avoid a confrontation. As long as their existence wasn't acknowledged, they wouldn't make the first move. Did Mark have to keep bugging her even from a distance? This was exactly why the right reason would have been to stay home.

Rose rolled her eyes with a sigh, shifting position to avoid seeing the other.
