A hand came up to rummage around the counter. The last of the beer was likely gone but that didn't mean there wouldn't be anything else to drink. Julian ended up bringing far too much to be finished one night.
It would have to get stored away for another day of drinking. Zane wouldn't allow his sibling to take it away with him now that it had entered his house. It would say there until he finished it or it needed to become moved elsewhere for safety reasons. Zane would never allow the other to take back such an important gift.
Speaking of which, the younger sibling had abandoned his older brother long ago. Weaker alcohol tolerance leads to passing out far sooner than his elder brother. It would be better that way in the long run. The less he talked about matters, the less Julian would want to get involved in anything.
