Zane didn't know which was worse, his brother not listening to him or seeing that Rose didn't seem to mind tagging along with the younger sibling.

Did the little wildflower not realize what exactly she was getting herself into or did she not care? The paralegal didn't seem the type to be so careless.

Her strong sense of justice didn't seem as though it would allow for that kind of thing to happen. Whatever the case, Zane didn't like.

"Sir, is there something wrong? If there are other things that you'd rather do, we don't have to meet to go over this today." Andre's voice snapped Zane out of his thoughts. He'd almost forget he'd decided to take the younger man on the drive with him. The kid seemed to have picked up on his bad mood rather quickly.
