Dear Dove

Julian hoped that the silence that followed after Zane spotting him together with Rose didn't mean that his older brother was silently plotting his death. The other could be so pissy about such things when he wanted to be.

Couldn't Zane understand that Julian had good reasons for what he was doing? He meant to do something good for his older brother even if the other couldn't see that himself.

"Thank you for at least being willing to swap phone numbers with me. Sorry, this turned out to be a bit more of a mess than I had expected it to be." Despite his concern for whatever Zane might've been plotting, that didn't stop Julian from talking with Rose. He couldn't just let the chance go while he had it in front of him.
