Dear Dove

Zane didn't expect his father to be the one on the other end of the phone.

"I don't have time to be speaking with you right now. I think we did plenty of that during the family dinner." Zane didn't get a chance to hang up before the sound of a gun clicking in the background of the call caught his attention. His father continued knowing he got the other's attention.

The eldest son too much like him had begun to cause minor headaches. Ones that Bernard could no longer ignore even if he wanted to.

"You know that you're starting to upset the people who are working for me. I understand that I put you in charge of many things. That doesn't mean however that you can go about doing whatever you want with that power." Bernard shifted the phone to sit between his shoulder and ear as he pointed the gun.
