I will protect you.

As the ceremony for the new directors concluded, the celebration got busier with cheery music. 

As Rose awoke from her inebriated stupor, she discovered herself lying on the ground and began to gaze about while her eyes were only partially open and her hair was a mess.She turned back as she cradled her face with both hands and found a teapot with the words herbal tea inscribed on it. She took a grip of it after carefully inspecting it for a long, drank it, and held her nose with two fingers in case the flavour was bitter.

She picked up a small piece of paper that was resting on the desk's corner and unfolded it, leaving only the words 'if you are awake then be tidy and change your dress as you were sleeping on it. It might have wrinkles, much like the outfit you can see on the red box'.

 The red box that was mentioned in the note was lying on the lovely cheetah-printed couch when Rose discovered the box she took a quick breath and opened the box to reveal the dress, which was clearly visible through the wrapper.

Rose leans on to check the price tag on the lovely, shiny blue garment that was wrapped in transparent paper and was priced at 590 dollars. 

She gasped and glanced up to the ceiling as she left the box unboxed, wore a little lipstick on her lips, tied her hair up in a bun, and swiftly opened the door as she noticed that all the guests were leaving, waving each of them for their sincere labour of love.

Liam spotted Rose swaying next to a group of directors while one of them kept moving forward and backward as if to tease her, and she shivered a few times before backing away. 

Liam glanced around as he said in a low voice to Derick "Hey, look after this area. I'm going to my villa now" Derick looks down briefly before nodding. 

Rose was ready to tumble to the ground when Liam suddenly grabbed her arms. Rose looked up to see who was grasping her and surprised herself by realising that Liam was holding her by the arm when she came to her wits.

With a raspy voice, Liam croons softly while tucking her hair behind her ear "You look awful. I advise you to return home."

 He received a polite nod from Rose, who then said, "I can't go home as I don't have my belongings with me and my driver just left me here." 

As he informs the directors standing behind him, "we will go forward. It was a great day," Liam sighs.

"He is a big asshole" Rose adds as she lightly grabs Liam by the shoulder.

Liam looks at Rose, nods, and then turns to face her again and says "Come, I'll drive you to my villa; it's close by"

 "I can spend the night at a hotel," Rose adds, shrugging. I have no fear of anybody." Liam nods as he walks toward the parking lot to get in his car. 

Rose followed him as they were at the parking lot and suddenly a car went out by the parking lot. Liam slowed his path and turned back to check as he discovers Rose face looking here and there like a lost child in the crowd. He turns around once again to get to his car.

Liam receives a call from Derick as Rose settles into his bugatti and he cranks up the engine. 

"President Han's car just passed by the parking lot, but it appears that he left the house much earlier than expected. What should we do?" As he makes a mouse click in the control room, Derick speaks. 

On the phone, Liam murmurs gently. "by the time I head out now, get me the video. well done." As Liam quickly hangs up and drives out of the parking lot. 

Derick says, sitting on the chair and scribbling on paperwork relating to it, "Get ready the footage and check the timings and give it to sir Liam he will manage it."

"Thanks for today, I'll be sure to pay it forward at some point," Rose sighs and informs Liam. 

Liam smiles and nods as he drives down the street "You are welcome to stay at my house. I usually just hang out there when I want to avoid someone."

"Are you escaping today too?" Rose asks as she peers down at the passenger window. 

Liam pulls over in front of his villa, exits the vehicle, and calls to Rose to "come out" as he opens the door on her side. Rose arches an eyebrow and says, "If you're angry, growl at me, but don't leave me in the streets."

" We're already in front of my apartment, come out" Liam shooks his head.

Rose twists her ankle as she tries to get out of the car and groans quickly. 

"Let me take you inside" Liam says, lowering himself to her legs. 

Rose was once more held by Liam's shoulder as he unlocked the door to his priceless apartment, sat her down on the couch, and grabbed an ice pack for her legs to soothe the pain in her ankle. 

By the time Liam quickly showered and changed into formal attire, the villa was fairly chilly, so he turned on the heater in case he wouldn't be able to survive in that kind of temperature.

 Rose had already showered and changed into one of Liam's outfits because her small frame prevented her body lining from being seen.

Rose continued to enjoy the fresh air, ideal temperature, and lovely nighttime view from the glass window. Her eyes sparkled in the soft lighting of the room, and the view of the villa's skyline was enough to give her butterflies. 

As Liam entered the room and gazed at her, she sneezed multiple times before he asked, "Would you mind if I asked you a question?" His voice stunned Rose as she spun around and nodded at Liam in the middle of the villa. 

"So, do you feel at ease wearing that outfit?" Rose nods in response to Liam's question as he casts a quick glance her way.
