After they finished hunting the three uncommon beasts, it was already 9 p.m., and they were all beat, so Max decided that it was enough for the day.
Alex and Max were sitting in Max's living room discussing their future plans.
"how long do you think it will take to reach level 50?" asked Max.
Alex had already explained to him about different ranks, and how to start a guild, so he was very eager to reach level 50 as soon as possible.
"I think with our current speed, it would take at least a month to reach it, but we still have the dungeon; since it's not a regular dungeon, I think we can level up faster if we successfully clear it."
"What do you mean it's not a normal dungeon?"
"Just like beasts and treasures, there are different grades to a dungeon. But that's not all; since we need a key to get into the dungeon, I think the dungeon that we found is at least a rare grade one."
"Does that mean we have to fight rare grade beasts?" asked Max, a little nervous. They could handle uncommon beasts below their levels, but he didn't know about the rare grade one.
"Not necessarily; since we are still at the initial stages of the game, finding rare grade beasts is like finding a needle in a haystack. I believe even if we had to fight a rare monster, that would only be the main boss."
Max sighed in relief and said, "then we need to prepare before taking on the dungeon. I think everyone needs at least ten lives before getting into the dungeon."
"that's exactly my thought; we still don't have a revival skill, so it's better to go in prepared. Plus, we can't leave the dungeon unless we clear it or accept the punishments."
"what is a revival skill? And what are the punishments?"
"a revival skill is basically a skill that allows a healer to bring back the dead without spending so much money. But the healer has to be fast because they can only revive the dead players for less than ten seconds.
As for your second question, there are different punishments for a dungeon leave. For example, it could only be as simple as a level loss, or it could be banishment from entering the dungeon for some time or even INBs."
"aha," said Max and started thinking about what they needed before going into the dungeon.
As they were talking, Emily and the kids ran into the suite and shouted in happiness.
Emily came to Alex and showed the little puppy, who now had grown to the size of a one-month puppy.
"Alex, he leveled up to level 1," said Emily.
"Really, that's nice. Are there any changes in the tree?" asked Alex without much enthusiasm. That would be surprising if the beast didn't level up after eating so much essence.
Emily was clearly not satisfied with Alex's reaction, so she hmphed and said, "the DNA bar went from 1 to 2.5; there is no change besides that."
Alex just nodded his head and stood up, "let's order room service. I'm starving."
The kids screamed in happiness, and each grabbed a menu. They loved eating Aunt Leyla's cooking, but there was something about ordering room service that made them excited.
Half an hour later, the six of them, plus Aunt Leyla, were gathered around a table in Alex's suite eating.
After finishing dinner, Alex went to his bed and laid down before entering the second reality. "Nano, are you there?"
A beautiful girl appeared in front of him with a happy smile on her face and said, "yes, Alex? do you need something?"
"I was just wondering, what other things can you do without the rules limiting you," asked Alex.
"that's pretty much all I can do, by the way; forget about asking for rare grade monsters; I can't generate them wherever I want."
Alex was surprised when Nano beat him to the punch and gave him a negative answer, "I told you not to do that. Plus, why??? That would be good practice for our team before going into the dungeon."
"because they are still being designed, and I don't have authority over them yet."
"what do you mean they are being designed? Who is designing them? And what do you mean you don't have authority over them?"
"do you think monsters just pup out of nowhere? They are designed by the system before they come into the game. Plus, since I'm not directly designing them, I also don't have the authority to generate them whenever and wherever I want."
"ok, ok. Do you want to meet the gang?" asked Alex.
He didn't know Nano that well, but for some reason, he felt close to her and wanted to introduce her to his friends.
"do you mean that?" Nano was pleasantly surprised, and a big smile appeared on her face before it turned sad and said, "it really means a lot that you offered, but unfortunately, I can't. I'm still under a lot of restrictions, and it will take a lot of time before I can come out and even generate a hologram. Even talking to you face to face takes a toll on me."
"that's unfortunate," said Alex.
After some more talking about the system and how it worked, Alex said goodbye and went back to his room and slept.
The next day, before going into the SR.
"I think it's time for your families to enter the SR and start leveling up; the sooner they reach level 20, the better," said Alex as soon as everybody gathered.
"why? Is there something wrong?" asked Max in a serious tone.
"no, I just say that because we have a little bit of free time before reaching level 50 and challenging the rank quest. After that, we won't have time to help them level up.
So I think it's best to help them level up and teach them how to hunt before then."
"what about the children? My sister is only one year old," said Leo.
"they don't need direct confirmation to enter the SR; she can enter with your parent's consent, and there is no need to pay extra money for her avatar."
"Are we going to help them level up in the jungle?" asked Reyhan.
"no, I have a place in mind."
The place Alex was thinking of was called paradise. It was a very beautiful city, surrounded by a jungle from one side and the sea on another.
It was filled with NPCs and quests that people below level 20 could grind and level up very quickly.
